About

I remember my dad telling me as a kid that one had to have an eye for photography to take good pictures. The first time he put a camera in my hands to take a photo in his place, I felt totally clueless about how to take a proper picture. Since then, I concluded that I didn't have a photographer's eye and kept a safe distance from the camera.

How things can change.

I have since discovered that this eye for photography is something that can be developed. Starting with the iPhone and Instagram, I slowly began to grow as a photographer. Now, nothing is as it used to be. I've found that everything I encounter has the potential to make something meaningful through the perspective in which I now see. My sight has been renewed.

Furthermore, I believe that this renewed perspective gained through photography is an apt metaphor for how the Gospel of Jesus Christ changes our perspective on all things life.

Sight, Renewed is the space in which I hope to share my newfound perspective.

"Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is full of light, but when it is bad, your body is full of darkness." - Luke 11:34
